Since the time Ryan was a child he has had an innate desire to help those in need of support. In searching for his career path, he discovered therapy and social work. After this discovery he quickly fell in love with the field and changed his major from engineering to social work. He is constantly striving to increase his knowledge to better serve those who are in need. Understanding that everyone is different, Ryan endeavors to work together with his patients to find what uniquely works best for them. His clinical interests include anxiety, depression, self-harm/suicidality, trauma, and addiction.
Ryan received his bachelor’s degree in social work from Harding University, and then earned his master’s degree in social work from The University of Houston. He has experience facilitating group therapy and individual therapy in many levels of treatment, including inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs with both adolescents and adults.
When not working, Ryan is spending his time playing games, going to church, working out, and spending time with his wife and two corgis!
